At Not Nothing Beach House, the brief was to create a place that felt light, fresh and welcoming, whether the owners were settling in for a stay or opening the doors to holiday guests.
The six-month project encompassed the house inside and out, refreshing and modernising the property while keeping spending considered. A light coastal direction guided the design, with neutral, durable finishes chosen to withstand regular holiday hosting.
Throughout, the owners’ own needs and style remained central. The house needed the ease of an Airbnb and the familiarity of a family retreat.
The result is a bright, homely beach house that balances both beautifully: practical enough to welcome new guests, personal enough to feel like coming home.
